Note that glycerin is a popular ingredient found in skincare that helps hydrate the skin. Luffa Cylindrica Stem Sap reduces skin troubles such as irritation or redness. Ginseng ferments are great for anti aging as they also help with toning the skin.
Also note that there are two ingredients in this list that may be irritating to the skin. Butylene Glycol can cause acne irritation in some cases, and Carbomer has an irritation number of 1 on CosDNA.

How it Worked for Me:
This is where the review gets a little tricky…
If you look at the images above, you’ll see that it took off the light bit of mascara, the bb cream (though I could still physically feel residue on my skin), and didn’t do much to remove my liquid eyeliner. For me, these are the three products I use during the week, nothing extreme, and with an oil cleanser, most of these things are long gone before I get to my second cleanser. The problem for me, comes during weekends. On the weekend, or for events I use a lot more makeup, and it’s on for hours. At the end of the day, I don’t trust my oil and this cleanser to completely get everything off. On the other hand, I wanted a gentle cleanser. Low pH, hydrating ingredients with a very short irritant list, this cleanser fits the bill. I like this cleanser, I like it a lot, but it’s not always the right one for me. Usually, I’ll use it as a morning cleanser, when I know I don’t really have anything on my face, or if I know I didn’t have much makeup on. If you tend to wear more makeup, or just want a deeper clean, this cleanser won’t do it for you. If you’re looking for a gentle cleanser, with low pH, that works well on sensitive skin, this cleanser really hits the mark!
- natural ingredients
- works well for acne
- low pH
- basic fragrance
- Doesn’t take off make up well
- Leaves residue if you don’t use another
- Hard to find, not many websites carry it
- Don’t get it in your eyes (OUCH!)
- 1-Bad, had a reaction, would not buy again
- 2-Did not work
- 3-Worked, but nothing special
- 4-Great product, but has the potential to be replaced
- 5-Holy Grail, it’s the cat’s meow!
As well as this product works, and hits the mark for the type of cleanser I was looking for, it falls flat when it comes to removing makeup from my face. It works great, but it doesn’t stop me from looking for something better.
